Auden Poems + Analysis - Year 11 English Adv (Mod B)

A dot-pointed, detailed analysis of W. H. Auden's poetry, specifically:

• O What is the Sound
• Epitaph on a Tyrant
• The Unknown Citizen
• September 1 1939
• Shield of Achilles

Each poem has an overview of what it's about, relevant context, stylistic devices, quotes/analysis and enduring value (bit iffy tbh). Lots of it is also drawn from @Masaken notes on Auden, so you should go check them out too

Ultimately I don't think I did too well in the assessment for this module, but I'm hoping at the very least that someone else can benefit from them :>
