For this task, we were required to write a critique of a modern-day issue (e.g same-sex marriage, human trafficking, etc) and I wrote about the emergence of fake news. We also had to write about the impacts our selected issue has on the micro, meso and macro levels of society.
Some feedback I received:
- needed to reference concepts more throughout (mine were: technology, power, environment and community).
- relied too much on evidence; could have elaborated more on the effects of fake news on people at different levels of society
- good examples that related to impacts of fake news on micro, meso and macro levels of society
