These notes address the entire syllabus for the Family module in the HSC Legal Studies course. They follow the structure of the dot points for this module. The notes include all relevant legislation, case law etc (which are conveniently highlighted via a key, introduced at the beginning of the notes). The final section of the notes, titled 'Issues to present in essays' gives paragraphs that can directly be applied to the HSC examination for this module. It includes summaries of the effectiveness of the law and draws on cases, newspaper articles and legislation in presenting the issues.
I came 5th in the state for HSC Legal Studies (final mark was 97) for my graduating year, and I do hope you will find these notes useful. Oh and just to add some further credit to the notes, i'm currently doing Com/Law at USYD
yes, my notes are perfect notes..and if used properly will get you an awesome mark in the HSC (because markers LOVE a critique of the law and an awareness of current issues..and my notes spell that out for you).
And these notes also address the key questions that form part of the syllabus!
