ummm i'm one of those people who doesnt put books down until finished....
i read the phillip pullman dark materials trilogy in 2 days.. and thats 1000 pages...
i'm a pretty fast reader..
i used to read heaps..
but what with HSC.. its hard to justify reading for vast periods oftime..
English prescribed text, non fiction, autobiography...
sally morgan's
MY PLACE...
fuckfuckfuck. i'm nearly failed AOS because i couldnt force myself to read it...
but i did
and god it's horrible.
It uses incorrect grammer and calls it 'ABoriginal English'... justifying that using it creates...
hmm..
i must admit.. this book was far from one of my favourites...
it's very different.. [esp the setting..]
and the attempt to make it into a mystery type book [ie with the 4 people, and one of them going missing.. or whatever.. sorry its been a while since i read..]
and then the final link...
at first i found the beginning of it quite tedious and boring...
but i have this thing where i can't not finish a book.. so i persevered and i didnt mind it..
not my favourite book [and i generally like books with underlying philosophical q's etc..]
it'd be good for imaginative journeys i...

and then back to school work

hmmm....
for those chauvenistic judges.. wouldnt being out late at night, going to a boys house[IN THE SOUTH WESTERN SUBURBS... ] with 3 boys and drinking constitute 'asking for it'...
?
smh.. [only on weekends- only time i have time to read non-school related material. ahah..]
but otherwise throughout the week... triple J, hack etc... [its credible! part of ABC! haha or at least i justify to myself :)]
agreed.
Esp because i believe a significant portion of the [and i wont specify which community..] community of the perpetrators will have the 'she asked for it' mentality...there will be alot of outspoken opposition [ie, and the grandfathers yelling spell is just the beginning of it..]
Even...
yeah...so would i.
esp south western sydney, large population of middle eastern people in that area...
i wonder what private school?
[ie. i usedto go to school out there.. *shudders* bad memories..]
its wonderful to be back.
i have a feeling that after the HSC.. i'll be on BOS till 2010.
sigh
buti mean.. after the HSC what else will i talk about?
i'm going to be one of those annoying people who discuss their UAI in uni...
i can see it now...
thats if i get to Uni... i'll probably get...
hhaha and now you're banned.
i requested the ban.. i was wasting my hrs away on here the night before exams and then had to wake at 3 am in the morning to start studying fortaht exam...
but evenw ith the ban.. i still did nothing [myspace replaced bos..] and had to wake up at 3.
sigh
:(
it was...
i have no passion for anything sciency or mathsy..
and i intend to steer far away frm it in uni..
but truth be told.. i'm good at it and i enjoy the straightforwardness of it, it's objectiveness... and how you can get instantaneous feedback [ie. correct. or incorrect.]
i enjoy eng and hist...

You;ll be fine.
16/26 isnt that bad, esp if you came second in the first assessment.

you'll be a genius
:)
Hmmm...
wouldnt you already know enough about Aboriginal Spirituality from all the years of ABorig. studies? [ie... Compulsary history etc..]
i've covered it in Art, Health, History, and Geography.
but you're right, its good to read up on....

I'm rejuvenating.
