well, we're using Ciao which would have to be worse.
sorry, I'm no help, seeing as I know *this* much. Hopefully Christine will reply. She knows her stuff ;)
The only exam I screwed up was Italian. I guess it would help if i was able to actually speak it. I couldn't remember any words at all!!!!!!!!! lol. I'll try and actually study for the HSC exam. I just couldn't help it though, my TV was beckoning me!!!!!!!!!:D
I didn't get that sparta question. Maybe it was in another section? I dunno. My Sparta ones were pretty answerable. I loved the JCs one. (we had to do one Augustus and one JC q) The Augustus question wasn't that great, probably because i didn't study for that one. But Aggie was ok. I spent too...
yeah, probably. But I re-read my essay the other day and damn it was good. lol. it sounds really smart (and so right now I am very very scared!). It's surprising that I could write at that quality at 4am. ;)
I'm not 100% sure (or no where near that, actually), but I think you can do something like B Arts and then transfer? Or something like that. I know someone that's doing psychology this year and is changing to law next year......eck. I dunno. :( :p ;)
It was Ok. I went alright in the Crime section because I'd studied it properly, but consumers and family i only managed 3 pages of really stretched out reposnses.:p
oh. can someone tell me what sovreignty is? I swear I've never heard about it before!
What about in a country like england or something. How would I go about applying to them, or finding out more infor about which uni is which. I asked my careers advisor about going to uni overseas and she just looked at me blankly and said, "No one's ever asked me about that before...I'll look...
Well, Augustus And the JCs kind of mesh with Aggie. Aug & the JCs are two different topics for us. I think it's good to have options. And plus, studying all of them together made everything easier to understand.
look, i don't think it's really a good idea to be listing the questions up here right now. I know of at least one school thats actually doing the Catholic Trial in a couple of weeks.
well, I'm doing:
Augustus
The Julio-Claudians
Agrippina
Sparta
Mycenaeans.
We haven't finished the Mycenaeans yet so for the exam we have to do both the JCs and Augustus, but we covered them both so that we can choose in the HSC.
well, our class has been using the same textbook through the entire thing: Heinemann Legal Studies (original, very much ;)).
I can't say whether it's good or not because I haven't seen any others, but it seems to do the trick. :D
ooh! I loved this paper! I was so happy with it. I'd seen last year's Catholic trials so i was pretty freaked out wondering what this would be like. I think if i'd actually studied Mabeth I would have written more in it.
I wrote:
Image: 5 pages
Macbeth: 2 1/2 pages
Raw: 4 pages.
I even...
oooooohhhh! I get it!! if only my teacher would be able to explain it that simply. all she does it talk about Big Brother, and then tells us don't use it.
What I don't understand is what the imagery is supposed to be of! Is it supposed to be of just anything? Like, can a travel brochure work? and if so, what is it that i'm supposed to comment on. Same with the song lyrics.
The course I want to do is a combined degree at UTS- B Arts Communications (i don't know which one yet though) and International studies. It's my ideal course- I get to do communications, and I get to go to Italy!
