    Australian Idol 2004

I loved Marty this week. The judges were right, he sung a lot better when he let go, and just went for all the high notes etc. I hope Marty stays, and I hope Chanel goes. She's been bugging me for a while now.

    Boost Juice ?

Cinemas tend to pay you really well. I think for a 17yo its about $11 per hour. And cinemas are always open on public holidays meaning double time. The only downside is having to work late hours.

    Vocabulary tips

Read A Lot. And invest in an all-in-one Dictionary/Theasuarus. That way, when you look up a word, you not only find the meaning of the word, but also the synonyms.

How many Weet-Bix do you do?

It's not Weet-Bix that makes you more attentive, its breakfast in general.

    Thoughts about year 12

I feel the exact same way. I always go well the first few weeks of the year though, that is, getting straight to work as soon as I get home, but then after that, I can't really be bothered. I'll try harder, much harder this time around though. I hope. Also, what are detentions like at your...

    The Arias Thread

I don't think 'Album of the Year' is based on sales, because ARIA has a separate category for 'Highest Selling Album' and 'Highest Selling Single'. However, I do think that Guy Sebastian will win the 'Highest Selling Single' category because 'Angels Brought Me Here' was the fastest selling...

Thanks. I've been to Dymocks so many times, but I can't find them. I guess I'll have to search for them more carefully next time. @Dark Secrets: I'm planning to buy some of my textbooks from past HSC students, but I'm trying to spend a $80 Textbook Scholarship that I recieved from my...

    pressure from parents

This might sound strange, but I feel more pressure from my relatives to pick certain subjects or to achieve a certain UAI. They don't tell it to my face, but I know what they're thinking. There's always that competition in my family. That is, comparing what subjects I do, and the marks that I...

    Guy Sebastian Fans

Hey, Just a reminder that: Guy Sebastian will be at Martin Place this Friday (1st October) at the 'Seven News' new building place. He'll be performing on the show, but I'm not too sure what time, but sometime between 6am and 9am. Anyway, hopefully I can wake up earlier enough to go. :)

    Ahhh English

I would tell you not to worry, but like my friend always tells me, its our natural instinct to worry. So instead, to improve your creative writing, read. Read as many books as possible, becuase it not only helps you write better but also helps your imagination and flow of ideas, if I can put it...

hsc 4 life: did you feel as though she had every reason to do what she did? oh the following may or may not be a spoiler. i understand that killing the first one was right, and that she should not have killed the others, but i think again, and the ones she killed were abusive and...

What do you think is a reasonable price for a CD?

yeah about $20 for single albums seem reasonable. however, if you want cheap cds wait for christmas when all the department stores compete with each other thus lowering the prices... last year, i think big w sold top 30 albums for $18 and then some cds for $15 if you want popular cds then go...

    Monster & Thirteen

No. The film I'm referring to is about two thirteen year old girls, a popular one and a 'goody goody' type, and basically the transformation from a goody-goody to girl who takes drugs, shop-lifts, drinks etc. It's based on a real-life story, and one of the girls in the film actually co-wrote...

    Monster & Thirteen

Hey, Who has watched Monster of Thirteen. I have heard so many good things, and read so many good reviews for both films that I had to watch them. And they don't disappoint. For those who have watched 'Monster' or 'Thirteen', what are you thoughts? And to those who haven't watched...
