Take it from me, I got a 95+ in general maths and I regret taking that subject SOSO much. Despite the fact that it will probably save my atar. It seriously limits me from uni courses and I can't even explore engineering or actuary etc because of it.

Intra and intermolecular forces, hydrogen bonding, nomenclature (especially of hydrocarbons), stoichometry, polar and non polar are the immediate important things that come to mind when i compare the prelim course to the hsc course

What school do you go to ? My terrible 300+ ranked school's 11/20 in econ got like 72 and last years 16th in business got about 78. While other schools might have 30 economics band sixes and 50 band six business students.

Flop studies computer science so keep that in mind, she would obviously prioritize a laptop above others. I myself am not sure whether or not to get a laptop for next year or whether to use pen and paper.

Possibly try and get your school to put in board of studies system that you completed Extension 1 Prelim and catch up on as much of it as you can. Maybe that might help you get into the course.

You aren't screwed as long as you continously put in effort in all subjects throughout the year, but obviously evaluate your situation and spend more time on bio and perhaps allocate some time from your strongest subject.

I agree its not needed, you most likely only need outside help in the form of teachers marking essays that you email them.
