    RU486 - Abortion Pill

You seem to be ignoring the fact that doctors administer drugs - Source: RU486 for Australia? (again) Now, I think that it would be fair to say that Australia would much the same as New Zealand given that we tend to be in favour of best practice and all.

    RU486 - Abortion Pill

Ah, do you really think that the drug (assuming that the 'ban' is removed and that the tribunal approves it for use) would be given to a woman to be administered in the home at her leisure?

    Muslim People in Australia

Yet you, funnily enough, were more than willing to give the thread new life with pathetic thoughts of your own. Excellent work, chap!

    Course fees at enrolment

Huh? It's 604 for the full year (for a first year student). That's the subscription fees alone, of course - as you know, an upfront payment of your HECS liability runs into the thousands.

    Cronulla Beach Incident

Crime/task squads with a particular focus are established whenever such an entity is considered to be necessary.

    Whats your major?

    RU486 - Abortion Pill

... and as I said, there is nothing to be gained (in a constructive sense) by such a trivial suggestion given that it will not be sold over the counter. Please, don't waste our time.

    Science/Arts @ USyd

This is from another thread. Now, it was written with the previous degree resolutions in mind (before this year there was a BSc/BA and a BA/BSc, and this was written in order to address the BSc/BA), but it's still correct and it should adequately address any sense of confusion that you both may...

    Reshuffling the Coalition

Something may happen today - Departing minister's diplomatic silence Edit: The Australian (surprise, surprise) seems to be on to something. If not, I'm going to laugh given the prominence of this 'spread' - Hill to quit, clearing way for reshuffle Refused to be Downer's chauffeur

    The Wheat Bribe Affair

Ah, despite what some may say (myself included, at times), most people assume the best and defend others in good faith, mr eazy. I'm sure that you quite often do the same thing.

    The official IR reform thread!

True, but I'm willing to take the union at its word. Besides, even if the AWA isn't as bad as is being suggested, it's still a slap in the face to those employees (both new and old) who would prefer to be covered by a collective agreement.

    The Wheat Bribe Affair

I like the way in which addymac ever so gently implies that contact with a tertiary level course (or even just a unit) in economics shows misguided youth the light.

    RU486 - Abortion Pill

RU486 for Australia? As for the idea that the debate has been hijacked by pro-choice 'activists', I take it that you, ohne, somehow missed noticing the way in which anti-abortion campaigners have swamped the current enquiry (despite the fact that it isn't an enquiry into abortion).

    All cut-offs released

For each degree there are two cut-offs - one that is published, and another unpublished cut-off that determines the lowest possible UAI that a student may hold in order to enter a course. For advanced degrees, this unpublished UAI cut-off is always high, regardless of the demand.

    RU486 - Abortion Pill

Safe or not? RU 486 Edit: Parliamentary Library - RU486 for Australia?
  16. G

    Would you have an abortion?

    Really, phanatical?
  17. G

Voldemort vs. Darth Vader, who would win?

Heh for far too long. That said, it was a good avatar :).

Coffee with Sam Dastyari (President of Young Labor)

If he truly wants to help the ALP, he would get out of the MP's office and hit what many call the 'real' world for a time. Personally, I don't see much of a problem with someone working in a political capacity before they make a break for a safe seat (one set aside by the factions, of course)...
