At school I got a couple of catastrophic marks. The scary thing is that I started and finished those exams feeling exactly as I did with exams I did normal / unbelievably well in.

My point was that it's more about the groups people are forced to make, rather than what the student body does, which makes people more 'sociable' at uni (I was talking about people being generally sociable or wanting to socialise, rather than the campus life, probably more in relation to this...

I came here to say the same thing. I am very impressed at being notified of things through the email system. It seems more like we are considered as equals, contributors to the uni, rather than people who just pay fees, receive information from lecturers and leave. This reminded me that...

we have 13 teaching weeks followed by 2 weeks of exams. so either 13 or 15 week semesters depending how you count it. we have a 2 week break after week 6. so will you have 12 teaching weeks or is that including exams? do you currently have 14 teaching weeks?

i've probably gone to uni an average of 3-4 times a week for the past 3 1/4 years and i only know about it from this board.

I don't know how much this will help. But from memory 'ci' means 'there' when the place is preceeded by 'a.' So, for example, you say 'voglio andare al supermercato' or 'voglio andarci' or 'ci voglio andare.' so are you sure 1 is correct? because i would have written that as 'ci vuole 10...
