    info on subject choices

for law, it probably doesn't matter that much. do subjects you like and are good at, because that's the best way to get a good UAI, which you need to get into a law program. a decent level of english would probably be handy though.

    Subject Reviews (with PDF compilation)

Re: Subject Reviews (Updated PDF on first post) GOVT2119 Southeast Asia: Dilemmas of Development Lecturer: Dr Lily Rahim Ease: 8/10. basically no theoretical content so the material wasn't hard to learn. in terms of assessment, i thought there was a tad too much: 30 minute presentation...

    Semester 2 Timetables

you don't qualify as full-time, which doesn't change anything as far as the uni is concerned (unless your course is restricted to full-time), but it means you're not eligible for transport concession or youth allowance.

    Anhs1601

good question, but i basically have no idea really. depends if i decide to do honours in govt or anhs. if govt, i'll probably end up doing something NGO-ish or working for the government; if anhs, i wouldn't mind doing a phd and then becoming an academic. i'm not really that clear on career...

    Anhs1601

if it's anything like the old first year course, it will be the late republic and early principate, basically from the gracchi to augustus. but the new description is very vague, so it's possible that it's been refocused. it will still probably focus on the republican period though, since that's...
