you can do actuarial with...*whips out Good Universities Guide (i love my GUG) commerce or arts or finance, or law, or economics. the cut offs for 2003 was 93 which isnt bad compared to 97 or something at UNSW...

i'd love to do music too, but the unemployment rate is a bit scary (around 40% for new graduates) well, you could do a double degree - combine music with law (most unis) or commerce (only at Australian National Uni i think) you could do things that doesn't really involve playing music much...

:o the first is in a week or so! our school is last... 17th. i don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing because everyone would've gone before us and the standards will be pretty high (no pressure or anything, of course;)) but we also get extra time to practice :D

go to a really easy uni like southern cross uni! they offer contemporary music and you only have to know AMEb third grade theory and not even have to do music as a course at high school! so good, though southern cross is a bit of a *BLAHHH* university compared to the sydney con and griffith...
