vietnam was the only one we did that was out of the textbook... we did barbie for popular culture and buddhism for belief systems!! :)

ethnographic studies are like case studies except they focus on all the different aspects of a certain group. as erika said, you're finding out about the customs, beliefs, attitudes and values of a certain group. it might be for an ethnic group (eg Aborigines) or a subculture (surfers etc.)...

some unis aren't raising fees... there's a new system being implemented, called HECS-HELP or something. if you pay upfront you get 20% discount instead of 25% discount under the current HECS system...

yeah Sarah Redfern isn't far from my school... it doesn't have a great reputation, but i've heard that the community spirit there is alright... the school is on the special funding list because it's recognised as a disadvantaged school. why the interest in it??

isn't there something available through UAC where you can get someone to accept your offer on your behalf or something?
