    Schoool Cert Notes

You should enjoy year 10. Its one of the most laziest years. The school certificate means absolutely NOTHING! First day back in year 11, no one even talks about it. Besides, you can bludge year 10 and still end up with band 5/6s. Its that easy!

    Distinction Courses?

No, what I meant is that say you do year 11 and at the end of the year you get a preliminary report. But at the same time you accelerate in a HSC subject. So naturally you would also receive a report on how you went in that subject, the HSC report. This is what they would most likely look at...

    Distinction Courses?

Yeah doing an extension subject will help you big time with getting in i think. But the problem is it might be too much work because you have to complete both the normal prelim and HSC course in addition to the prelim and HSC course for the extension component. I think they focus more upon...

    Distinction Courses?

Well it depends on what subject you find most is easiest. Accelerating in any 2u subject would mean having to complete a minimum of 120 hours. So whether its 120 hours of vis. arts or history, it doesnt really matter. You can't really compare one subject to another anyway. Just have to get a...
