    Lessons and Tutoring

Fantastic! I'm a nineteen year old cellist and pianist, who teaches piano in the Blue Mountains. I generally take younger students and beginners, and am able to teach Traditional and Suzuki methods. Contact me for further details! POA.

What grade should I be at?

Would it be possible for me to grab a copy of that essay too? It sounds absolutley awesome! I'd love to see how you analysed it! It would take a dedicated and clever person to do 3000 as well as it sounds you did. 4:33 haha. John Cage you pro.

    Encore 2005 CD (HSCers 2004)

I'm searching for only two pieces on the whole Encore 2004CD, recorded on the 5th Feb 2005. The problem is that if I wish to buy the whole album it costs me 43 dollars via the BOS. Does anyone have a copy of that CD, whereby I might be able to grab a copy of two of the pieces? I'll tell you who...

    Piano

Another pianist here, though I did the HSC last year, it's so fantastic to see all of us celebrating the beauty of piano, rather than trying to out-compete one another, that's not what music is about. I always wish I had been allowed to start at a younger age, as I was a late bloomer, and only...

    What have you eaten today?

Hurrah! Others who like to list what they've eaten today! Bowl of Strawberry jelly. Soy/Linseed sandwich with salami. Spoonful of nutella. Glass of water. Frozen Peas, mmm.

    Progress.

I thought it might be a good idea to have a poetry forum whereby rather than telling each other what we write about or giving one another exerpts of each others poetry, we simply discuss our progress, how we felt or feel about E2, whether we think we will make it, what mark we want, how many...

    1st in the state

I'm determined to come first in the state for either Music 2 or Ext Music. That would be awesome. Either or haha. Hmm or E2, however my mediocre assessment marks can only ensure topping the state if I come first in my class in e2 with a mark of 50, and then take the student with the top...

    Calculating your internal assessment mark

I thiiink that that is correct. Also take into consideration your trials. For Eg. In modern in the trials the overall exam was worth 30% of our assessment mark, but within that, the world war two section was worth only 5% because our year had already done another ww2 assessment worth 15%...

    2006 CSSA Trial Results

Yes...to an extent...I loved maths until I was bad at it hehe. I admire those who can do it however. I belieeeeve that our Maths E1 class had a pretty broad range of marks, from about the 30's to the 70's (?) unsure exactly. I know quite a few people were upset...but this course is difficult...

    2006 poets!

Hmm well its because we had just lost one of the best...no..the best teacher on the english staff due to a serious of stupid stupid events, and now our eng dept is trash. Our teachers had never taught the course before, and they split our class of 12 into two classes, one off the timetale and...

    Prohibition of Receiving a UAI.

I think we've all lost value in apathy. Who cares? It's the HSC, and this persons issues (as he has said) are his own. I'm sure it was some kind of kind act to show your supposed concern, but meh. It's a number, and far too many people here think they know more than they do in regards to what...

    2006 CSSA Trial Results

There is a very important lesson here. This is that you don't do maths, and struggle to count to numbers of any real significance, like 5 or so. It changed my life when I let go of the numbers, it gave me time, and better marks. Good luck in getting your results back! These marks are scaled...

    2006 poets!

Yes, in the past years, there have been poetry major works featured in the showcase book of some 500 words. Sure, it's not ideal, but I believe that some of the beauty of poetry lies in its succint nature, and ability to make the reader think. It has to be refined. I'm really going to try to...

    2006 poets!

Pomo is an abreviated way of saying post-modern. We all know why post-modernism is so worn. Generally people like to mock it. Hell, I know I do. Solved :)

    2006 poets!

Furthermore, for all those 'word limit' worriers out there, I've done a solid 1500 words, and you know what? I love it that way. Don't fill out the space because you can...Don't those of you that have written numbers that I am incapable of counting to find yourselves being a little...verbose...

    2006 poets!

It's good to finally meet some 06 co-poets. Im doing poetry too, I hate my E2 teachers, as they are, well, full of *hmm*. I've been left to procrastinate action on my myspace, and coin a few half-decent phrases when I've been 'in the mood.' All I'm needing is a little reassurance that everyone...
