Questions + Incredibly low liberal studies and 'bach arts and science' cutoffs!!

You really shouldn't worry about the cut off. I got 93.35 and I'm doing arts and sci. You don't know the make up of the course either. There could be lots of people in the 90's doing it like you and I. Anyway the cut off is certain to rise in the next few years. By the way, employers in no way...

    Cut-Offs for 2005 here!

I don't see how it matters what the UAI cut off for arts and sciences was. I got 93.35 and got in and I don't have any regrets. The cut off doesn't matter because the subjects you do will be held by the faculty of arts, sciences, economics and law. That means that you won't be in classes full of...

    st andrews application?

Interesting to note about the academic Paul's freshers. I got in the early acceptance to Paul's with a UAI of 93.35 for what i could only assume were my sporting skills. How did you find out about this considering Paul's haven't finalised their places yet.

    lowest UAI

A bloke at my school, which is an elite private school got 30 or below and for some reason he decided he wanted to actually know, rang up the relevant people and found out he got 18. College Life

Melbournian I understand completely about that whole boys club thing. I've been to an all boys school forever aswell but I kind of like that whole comradship that you get in those situations so I don't really mind it. I think it probably would be better if I didn't know the initiations but i...

Boys vs. Girls in the HSC

Girls v Boys Obviously the discrepency has something to do with basic genetics but that isn't the answer. Look at the results for teh American SAT's in both English and Maths and the boys have always and i mean every year, done better than the girls, and the SAT is nationwide. These results are...
