i did a question kinda similar to this yesterday with a solenoid and a magnet and the other end of the solenoid did turn into a north pole like with the same set up as this question but idk maybe im getting confused

no like the other end of the magnet will be south so the solenoid at the top becomes a north pole to attract the magnet
