i did year 7 in england and I don't believe accelerating was an option, but I was always rlly good at maths and stuff and I reckon if I knew about accelerating, I would have done it and I wouldn't have ended up in standard maths. that being said one of the reasons I always did bad in my exams up...

my good sir switch if you still can, you are clearly smart and good at chem, as well as being invested in the subject. Trust me you are much better off doing a subject you enjoy than a subject you don’t. You will be more motivated to do better too

I'm surprised my school isn't higher on that list tbh (its 30 in the 30s or 40s I think), so many people at my school have provisions. fortunately we have the space and resources to accommodate for it (private school)
