I'm dead serious. I did not make ANY notes for chem/bio and my ranks are 1/45 for chem and 2/57 for bio and my school rank is around ~70 so yeah. Making your own notes is a waste of time. Why would i spend time making notes when I can download them? I would totally make notes if I wasn't doing...
