    pls help

HSC is a game In times like this, it's a good idea to take a step back and gain perspective Make sure you're hitting all the dotpoints thoroughly and if that's what you did for your assignment, first see if the feedback is justified, if not contest the mark

should i keep ext 1 maths or drop to adv maths???

You can excel at mx1 as long as you work hard There's nothing in there that makes it extremely difficult to understand to the extent that it would be better for you to just drop it It's only the 2nd week so stick with it for a bit and see how it goes, you can drop any time and it'll also make...

    Guaranteed entry?

    How school scaling affects ATAR

School scaling? Imho you should look at your school's rank as a vague indicator of what level your cohort will perform at during hsc It doesn't explicitly affect your atar, not that I know of at least (i.e. nesa doesn't look at your school's rank and be like "yup gg tafe for you"), but it does...

how is a double degree not more work?

With double degrees, the reason why it doesn't take as much time as you'd think it would take (is what i think you're asking?) is because there are overlaps in courses between the 2 degrees so it's mostly (iirc) the 3rd and 4th year content that extends the duration of your study

    UNSW HELP

It's all speculative I don't think unsw publishes drop out rates iirc, if so, that's a really bad PR move for their degrees

    UNSW HELP

Bro it's not that deep, the farthest you'll go in learning new stuff is literally the first 1 or 2 chapters of any linear algebra book and new definitions & theorems of things you may or may not know from doing ext 2

    UNSW HELP

Idk about econ but I've heard that 1141 and 1241 had a more proof based approach compared to their 31 counterparts Considering it's 1st year maths, it shouldn't be too bad though, judging from what I've looked at in the course outlines

    Accelerated math program

It is advantageous If you think you're able to cope with the workload or comfortable with maths, I recommend accepting the offer as it gives you 2 chances to sit the hsc or extra breathing room for your other subjects if you're satisfied with your results
