The fact that there is no south pole in the diagram makes no difference -> whenever you have a single pole present in a diagram it should be automatically assumed that it's opposite pole exists somewhere (it's not possible to have a single pole exist by itself) - they just sometimes don't show...

They're both equally correct as long as the question doesn't specify which one it wants. as a side note don't make x the subject like x=2+y, it just doesn't look nice :P

CORONEOS FOR THE WIN WIN WIN!!! haha :) But seriously that's the only book I've used for prelim and HSC and it's got some beautiful questions in there...but it might be difficult to get your hands on a good old pink Coroneos though, they're pretty antique :)

Whoah, 98+ raw is quite a high mark...but I think 95+ definitely seems much more achievable :P

Hey guys, I'm asking this on behalf of a friend. Currently he's ranked 1st in 2U maths in a top 40 school and so far he's only dropped about 2 marks all together in his past three tests (so not including trials which are 40% of internal). Do you guys reckon he has it in him to get a state...
