Your school/cohort would not affect you at all if your ranked first internally. If your ranked 2nd or below then if better ranked people do shit, then your internal mark can bring you down

If you end up moving down next year, you would have missed on the essential prelim stuff hence disadvantaging you. But you would rather stick with 2U for now and try to do better than drop it while you had the potential to do great in 2U

yeh it depends on your course but i think normal courses like commerce should be around 85. Yeh check last yr's uai cut-offs

depends what course. Idk about other unis but unsw has bonus pts if u get band5-6 in subjects relating to your course UNSW HSC Plus 2009 um i think there are scholarships out there for finacially disadvanataged

yeh u shud get atleast mid-band 5's. Rest of your grade should pull you up heaps

yeh thats what im saying. The mid-bottom order don't get a band 6 and hence dont benefit the school in rankings :bomb:

yeh our school is always around the bottom 300's however we usually get 2-3 ppl with 98+ and about a dozen with 90+. Sometimes its mainly due to the middle and bottom order of the school that the ranks become shocking.
