lectures r where u'll have heaps of students sitting n one lecturer standing in front n talking..... :rolleyes: tutes r basicallly much smaller than lectures n u can interact easily, ask questions, answer questions.....most of my units last yr , we used to have hw which used to be checked in...

pens , writing stuff like lecture pads, books or watever u wanna use.....uni is fun but it is hard work 2 :)

yeh like for me last yr , i cud only pick two electives ....rest were compulsory units n had no choice but 2 do them...... :)

don't worry ppl coz eng/com students do only acct 1a and 1b in first yr.... :cool:

i think u can major in 2....so y not acct and mgmt ???

yeah for ecmt , many of my friends didn't attend all the tutes even tho attendance was compulsory....they copied of notes from me n since they were good friends with the tutor, he never complained! n both of them ended up getting 85 ( they just attended the tutes in which we had quizzez) :uhhuh:

it wud be best 2 call the student centre.....:)

yeh, uni bks r very expensive.... :eek:

depends on which bk ur buyin....like some bks cost 30 ( thin bks like the practise set for acct 1a or the vba bk for infs) , some 50, some 70 , some even 100 or more.....so it depends! wait for a few days n i think the co-op website shud hv the sydney uni list up !:)

hey u STILL CAN get 90+......don't worry so muchhhh...this is just the start n remember during ur hsc yr......there gotta be up's n down's!!!! so don't stresss , instead work harder for ur next assessment!!!

but u will need atleast 1 bk for every unit n mostly lecturers specify 1 bk only....sometimes 2 maybe

u don't need to get the bks now.....u can get them when uni starts .....n dats when the lecturers say which tb's to use.....but if ur still interested , check out the co-op bookshop website to c which tb's u will use for ur unit of study, n u can go n buy those bks if u want ! :)

o- week at usyd is in the first week of march.....there r heaps of stalls n stuff n u get 2 join clubs n societies.....basically u get 2 c many new faces, n u mite even find some1 doing the same course as u.......so go n enjoy ! :)
