Thank you for the info. I went to the UTS open day and it was amazing! We got a tour of your nursing labs and mini-lectures about your campus... I loved it. I didn't know until today that there was the course: Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Arts (International Studies).... and that sealed...

I went today... I got that motivation I needed. The tours and mini-lectures were really good. I went to the nursing labs and got a glimpse of UTS nursing life. There was free ice cream, drinks, SMH and BBQ so I'm not complaining :)

Hopefully this will make me want to try really hard to get into this uni.

k! Ill remember that :)... Can I just ask if this course is really tiring? I see the f/t course, you have to spend around 4-5 days on campus p/w ( I'm prob incorrect) and the pracs range from 7am-2pm or something? That sounds like alotta work... then you gotta do your own studying which...

I dissected a sheep's eye for a prac before...the vitreous humor was everywhere! :)

I did the trial.... not as scary as I thought. But MORE improvement must be made for the real thing... I think I might get 80 for it.

I get really nervous if I finish an exam way before time...esp. for this subject.

Well, we just had to cut the sheep's brain with a scalpel which was kinda cool...then we had little label pins and had to point out whats what (cerebrum, medulla oblongata etc)... my nose was blocked on the day so I don't know if brains smell or not lol.

Dissection of brain. It was for communication and i think I did ok in it.

I'm old school and I LOVE Buffy. But if we're talking about current tv shows, the oc. ^^ you're doing nearly all the same subjects I'm doing except music which I'm doing Legal studies!

I'd love to get into the City campus but I don't think my UAI will get me there so KRG would be my 2nd choice. Im going to open day at the city campus one so hopefully that will be an incentive to make me do well in the HSC.

Going to the UTS b/c they have a great nursing facility and that is the area I want to go into. But it sucks that its during my trials...my trials start in week 6!

Ask your teachers for last year's trial papers- they usually have them...

Go out and buy a FT textbook, then highlight everything that the syllabus says.
