I'm so confused about assessment mark scaling at the moment. My raw mark was 94 but in my results I got an 83 assessment mark. How on earth does this work? I'm really disappointed as I tried really hard and came first in English Advanced... Does anyone understand how it works?

For the essay...does it matter whether you use two or three related materials if they say "at least two"? You wouldn't get marked down for using the minimum number of related texts, would you?

I'm doing Science Fiction and was looking over past papers for the Genre module, and saw that a lot of the questions say "at least TWO other related texts"...and so I became incredibly confused (and subsequently feel stupid because I'm guessing the answer is going to be pretty straightforward)...
