I was just wondering, just how much does MATH1081 rely on MATH1231? Or does it not rely on some of the info on there at all.
I'm a first year undergrad studying Maths/Education.
Oh and also, are they hard?!
Hey there! This year I will be a first year at UNSW and will be studying B.Science/B. Secondary Education (Maths major). I was wondering how I will know which textbooks I need to purchase for my studies.
I've been looking around the BoredofStudies forums lately and I've noticed that A LOT of people are banned. Why is this happening?
What rules are they breaking exactly?
I need help with this one questions:
A particle is moving in a straight line. The acceleration of the particle when it is x meters is from a fixed point O is given by x''= 6x^2. Initially x = 1m and velocity v = -2m/s.
i) Find v^2 as a function of x.
I don't understand how I can integrate...
This is a binomial question, and I'm having lots of trouble. Say if the expansion was (3+4x)^16 how would I find the greatest coefficient? Do I just expand it all? Or is there an actual formula?
Well we'll be starting the PIP pretty soon and everyone, but me, seems to be really into it and know what they'll be doing or have a rough idea. I still don't know. Any suggestions?
I've kind of forgotten how to convert degrees into radians. Can somebody please help?
I know that pi = 180 degrees and that 2pi=360 degrees.
question is how do you convert any degree into radians? Say for example 200 degrees or 22 degrees.
