So your ranks are really important.. yes.. but does your school's internal raw mark affect you in any way? If so how? I know it affects your ranking in that school obviously but apart from that does it have any bearing on your hsc results at all? Or is it completely ignored when moderation occurs?

Are your school ranks in your yearly reports determined by the average of the ranks you get in each assessment or it is determined by your average mark throughout the year compared to everyone else's average throughout the year?
What happens when a kid in selective school gets the following marks and ranks in his half-yearly school report?
