I was a couple of pages into my third 8-page booklet for both - dunno how many pages that it but I have big writing.
The creative response was a gift, it slotted so well into my prepared one.
The essay was pretty good, only tricky thing was intimidation.
I have 11 units, but I will most likely have screwed up Modern History so I was kinda counting on Extension.
I've had a week too, and have studied a decent amount but I'm just over it now, I am losing motivation and just don't want to do it anymore.
I just want it to be over.
I'll be...
Well.....
I have no clue how I went, I tried my hardest, I studied really really really really hard I am hoping just to scrape into Band 6.
It makes no difference how many pages you write.
I personally wrote quite a bit but I have a bit larger than average handwriting.
I was upset at the...
I was a bit taken aback, but overall I think I did ok. For Speer I argued that Sereny believes events in his childhood shaped him, whereas Schmidt and Van Der Vat think Speer should have exerted his power to shape events favourably.
I AM SO ANGRY THERE WAS NO GOOD QUESTION ABOUT WEIMAR.
I SERIOUSLY KNEW SO MUCH ABOUT WEIMAR.
I think I did an ok job on the social/cultural questions, managed to get some historiography in there.
BUT I WAS SO GOOD AT WEIMAR.
*cries*
Thanks for the reassural. I don't think my modern history mark will make it into Band 6 so unfortunately I don't think I'll be an all-rounder - that would make it only 9 units of band 6.
I already know 5 units of my HSC marks because I'm accelerated.

The In the Wild question stunned me a bit. I think I did an ok job, I just wasn't expecting it. It was hard to think on your feet for that one. I would have needed a few more minutes to think about how to tackle it.
Harwood was pretty good, and Frontline was a gift.
For Frontline you need to write about:
1 or more Frontline episodes (I do two, this is recommended)
there is a HIGH HIGH HIGH probability that they will ask for two related texts, in which case a second episode of frontline doesn't count.
You need to do Frontline, Wag the Dog and another text.
I consistently get 14 or 15 for the AOS essay and the most I've ever written in 40 minutes was 1200. I really think as long as you hit 1000 and it's quality, you're fine.
I am just wondering if it's required that we learn about Australian involvement in Vietnam.
It doesn't say it in the syllabus dot points, but is it unwritten?
