    Pencil

Yeh pencils for diagrams is fine. I prefer maths in pencil a lot more than pens too...how many times have you done half a page of a proof, then realise there's an error in line 2 so you need to scribble all of it out and start again.

Who finds time is often the worst enemy not lack of knowledge?

Yeh same...2000 and 2001 papers tomorrow with 3 hours time limit is prolly the best thing we can do to overcome the problem. I just hope after the 3 hours on Monday I'll be glad that time wasn't a factor...

Who finds time is often the worst enemy not lack of knowledge?

I mean sure, most people could do with an extra hour, but does anyone comfortably finish a 4 unit paper after 3hours thinking that they've had enough time to give a serious attempt to every question (even if it means only looking & thinking about question 8) or do most people start to panic with...

    Complex Numbers Question

Hey I understand most of what you did, but I'm having a slight difficulty in drawing the step: x = pi - (arg(Z2) - arg(Z1)) show this using diagram I've made a triangle with side lengths |Z1|,|Z2| and |Z1+Z2| and I know which angle x is, but what's the best and simplest way to show x=...

What are techniques used in Photographs

Wow thanks for all that...but I still have a few questions: Skandi when u said: what do you mean by DOF, grain, ASA/ISO? and I'm not understanding this 'negative positive space' thing... And would the examiners be looking for the technical point of view or the artistic point of view...

What are techniques used in Photographs

Hey all... I know how important techniques are and one of my supplementary text for my focus on Changing Perspectives, is a photograph from a newspaper, but I'm no expert in art or photography so I'm wondering what kind of techniques I should be mentioning for a photograph. Thanks :)

Catholic Trials - Give Us Your Verdict

Do you guys get to keep the question paper for any of the Catholic Trials? I haven't done my 3u paper yet and thought it would be good practice...quite a lot of my friends do the Catholic paper and the general agreement from them was that it was hard.

    Ext 2 Maths

Morgues...yeh I realised my initial reply was out of context so I edited it. The first part was meant for BIG-WILLY only. :)

BIG-WILLY: Take it easy mate! Not every comment is necessarily a sarcastic one- I surely didn't intend to be sarcastic; my comment was 100% genuine. No offence but don't look *too* deeply into the posts, 'cause a lot of times, what one writes and actually is saying can be interpreted in a...

    Powerplay- Julius Caesar

How did you use Moulin Rouge to relate to powerplay? I'm not implying its wrong by any means, just curious as to the line of argument you took... Or is it stupidly obvious...'cause I've yet to see the film.:D

    Trials

My 3 and 4 unit are both worth 50% each!! Yeh that's why I'm dedicating so much time to maths that I think I'm starting to neglect my other subjects...not good. Btw, I find studying at the library to be MUCH more effective. Like mentioned several times, there are too many distractions at home.
