i think international house is full already this year! yay! but you should try ringing them, and the other colleges just incase people have changed their minds. its worth all the trouble of ringing around, college (whichever one you get into) is sweet as. did anyone find out if they got in yet?

Dusche is ok! there's alot more people applying there than you think, because all the private school girls go there (and womens). and they also do ALOT of things with the boys colleges, probably more than the mixed colleges, so you wouldn't have to worry about that. good luck guys :)

well, technically, its 50% overseas students, so there's heaps of americans, canadians, and a couple of europeans, plus crazy mexicans :) it just seems like there's alot of asians because theres a couple of asian-australians. nothing wrong with that though. its 50% australian, 50% international...

yeah, there's heaps of people i know who get centrelink at college. my boyfriend's at st johns and he worked for a year so he gets centrelink plus rent assistance. i also have a friend who gets more than $400 per fortnight from centrelink and living at International House. bunny, where did...

ahhhh i thought you were a uni student! i'm the same, i'm transfering from the b.econ/arts degree to b.econ/science so i have to go through qtac as well. i can't believe i have to pay $88 bucks to transfer to a course in the same uni! security work? as a part time job? ummm try the uq careers...

i'd say the only ones i'd go to are Griffith (they have awesome residential colleges there), UQ (best colleges ever) and QUT (they have an ice cream vending machine!!) i'm sure the USQ and Sunshine coast ones are good for certain degrees... you also have to consider the UAI cutoffs - if...

University of Queensland is the way to go :) its probably the best uni in your list brandwise - its one of the top 8 uni's in australia (group of 8) and the only universitas 21 uni in queensland. it really depends on what you want to get into though, what courses were you looking at? you go...

how did you go for cromwell? you're right next to us! cromwell's a good college, they have these 2 awesome parties every year. its so relaxed as well, but its not lazy like International house. cromwell is definitely the way to go :)

and you only share a bathroom with 3 other people on your floor. its not like dorms at all because the rooms are in towers, but its like living in a flat with 3 other people.
