i find jones and couchman to have better questions, not worded too hard like cambridge. fitzpatrick has some really good explanations though. and as for maths in focus... cmon, seriously? you dont get exam style questions in there very much. its good for basics but not to practice and study for...

haha i have the same issue, uninstalling msn takes a whole lot of courage. just put ur status as away or busy. talk less. or only talk to your special someone. maybe have times where u dont turn msn on at all. say from when u get home to 6pm. do your work then..

haha for english, i generally stay up anywhere between 12-3am. for anything else.. depends. just make sure you study at least 2 nights before. In hsc... not sure.

haha its funny how the world ranking says UNSW is better than Melb U but the Australian Engineering School Rankings says Melb U is better. so which is it? I guess I'll just go to UNSW since its closer and doesn't require moving states.

chill... end of yr 10 is in like... 5 months time. school cert is easy. even though u do crap in school cert, u still get into yr 11... save your stress for HSC!

haha yes, andrew harvey's notes are the BEST. i find that i cant study off other people's notes too well.. i make my own notes anyway then look at others' and kinda add more to mine or edit it if i need to. sometimes other people have points in there thats easier to understand than your own one.

nerdsforever, do you HAVE to go to a selective school? some other private schools out there get pretty good results... and why not try out for sydney girls or north sydney girls or something while you're at it? haha

i didnt realise either untill some friends were talking about their yearlies and all.. my exams are also last 2 wks of term 3. i just got a whole heap of work to catch up on since i've been extremely lazy.

in UK, i think public schools are better in quality as opposed to private schools.

around $5000-6000 not incl excursions, builing fund, text book hire, uniform etc. independent cath school. i guess the schools that pay more than $10k have great facilities like really new, high tech comps, swimming pool, proper gym with weights etc.

matrix, talent 100, tipps, alpha omega just to name a few. i heard pre uni was crap though. james an is good if u have good teachers.

go to uni n do some sort of engineering or science. then get a good job, earn big bucks, travel the world, get married blah blah blah

nothing wrong with doing 13u. just pick up another 2u subject like eco, phys, chem or bio. bio can get dull but some parts are fun. re general maths/mathematics, do mathematics. drop down if you have to later on but just start with a higher one.
