Hey I'm doing Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) by Distance Education and was wondering if anyone else is doing the same course?

My teacher gave us an in class test last week, and without any warning he turns it into an open book test... okay I'm fine with that but... He then says that it was just practice and that we're going to have another one after our trials... Is this fair? Or should I rip his head off?
