I dropped one of my classes and then when I went to recollect my timetable a tute had moved to a time I can't do because the course is full and no matter what I try online I can't get it back. I will go into staff assisted today but if they can't change it I've decided my options are to email...

Has anybody ever asked to change the date of an exam? I have a Saturday exam which really clashes with other commitments I have. I doubt they'll accept it as a valid reason but I just thought I'd see if it was worth a shot.

My initial timetable wanted me to do Old Darlington School-> bosch-> Seymour.

If i wanted to bring my own tea or something is there any place on campus with hot water?

I've tried doing it online, 100 times at least and I can't get things where I want them to go without another subject deciding to jump ship but its good that in person is easy, i figured the warning was just a scare tactic but Its good to know, Thanks.

How strict are they on in person subject changes? I need to move one of my tutes and online they say that moving one class will re-allocate the entire timetable and that you can't request to move one class etc etc. Is this the case?

I took I think was WRIT1001? last year I'm fairly sure it was called academic english. I found it to be an easy distinction, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a bludge. It definitely teaches you how to write strong essays but the level at which they go into the theory behind it was...

I've always known it as Academic Writing and no I've only ever done WRIT1001, I was forced to do it as part of my BLAS degree. It's mildly interesting if you are interested in how to write essays correctly and the theory behind all the essays and persuasion and what not but I found it taught me...

WRIT1001 is the biggest joke of a subject.

6am is the time i have to wake up if i have 10am classes, just go to the later classes and then just go to your assigned class for the exam.

I don't have mine yet either so it can't just be a law thing.

It's the lack of practicals, its one of the few upsides of doing Arts subjects haha
