anyone know if "the school for excellence" lectures are any good? they are significantly more expensive than the others, but are they worth it?

like 12hrs worth of lectures + "100's of potential exam questions..." + "A+ notes valued over $100 free" all for just $195!

I know a lot of other unis have schemes that offer bonus atar points if you do well in certain hsc subjects - like unsw have hsc plus - but i havent heard much about sydney? Do they offer a similar scheme??

Oh, and is it ok to do a film on something written in that period. eg. Jane Austen has had many of her novels made into films, so if i used the film instead of the novel as a related text, is this ok?

I was thinking of doing a film, so i guess all films would be from outside the romantic period? Our teacher said that this would be ok, as long as the context/setting within the film corresponds with the romantic period, ie set in the 18-19th century.
