I just went through the HSC english papers for advanced from 2001 to 2008. Generally, the earlier ones wanted an essay for Module A, a discussion or argument for Module B, and a speech for Module C.
BUT!! ever since 2005, every question has been an essay question.

I have unbelievably sweaty hands, to the extent of being able to soak through an 8 page exam booklet. When it's at its worse, i can literally poke a finger through the wet booklet.
Yeah.
I usually bring in a piece of plastic (jumper sleeve doesn't work) to stop the sweat wetting my page...
damn my timetable is nice.
First week: english subjects
Second week: math subjects - extensions.
Third week: science subjects - phys and chem.

You know, since we're so deprived of past papers, i actually printed last years hsc and tried to do it as a belonging paper, changing every "journey" i see to "belonging".
Are they gonna go easy on us because we're the first year to do it? I really do hope so.

They most definitely do.
Doing the past papers, its not really content revision imo, you should know all the content by now. More importantly, its practicing how to structure your answers in reference to the verbs and time management.
