Re: Is anyone else concerned about their ATAR after their performance in the HSC exam
I was pushing for 97.
Unfortunately, it mostly relied on dominating mathematics. I got 90+% in 3U, but I didn't go so well in 4U :/
I don't know what's going to happen now :/
I actually thought it was a decent paper
I do 4U and managed to do all of it except the very last question.
I wrote for 4 pages and still couldn't get it :/
I enjoy the harder stuff in 4U but not too hard. If it's easy and over quickly I also enjoy it.
This basically means that
1. I hate graphs. They take forever and yet are ridiculously easy.
2. I hate a whole bunch of the probability ones. The fact that there are so many ways of approaching...
Re: WORSE PAPER EVER MADE .... Thoughts?
I actually found that the Hamlet question wasn't so hard, except that I'm no good at writing personal responses (I just put I's in around the place and hope it cuts it). Our teacher basically went through just about every different form of question we...
A (Frankenstein/Blade Runner): Sweet, nice and easy, done this loads of times
B (Hamlet): What. Oh wait, that's not so hard, done this loads of times
C (50th Gate): What. It's not unique :/
The one thing I didn't focus on... places
I was set for shared values, connections in general and interpersonal relationships and yet they throw in a question on places!
Rage :/
That image was so stupid. Did anyone notice there wasn't any copyright information? That was because the picture's sole purpose was to be used in the HSC which really emphasises its stupidity :/
I entered with 55%
I don't regret it because I prefer the texts and I found that the amount that I've been pushed has actually been really good.
However, if English wasn't compulsory, I would drop it rediculously fast.
First line has no intersections
Second has one
Third has two....
Total = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10
P(1 on same line) = 1
P(2 on the same line (there are two potential lines)) = 6/9 (just count :P) = 2/3
P(3 on that line) = 2 / 8 = 1/4
P(3) = 1 * 1/4 * 2/3 = 1/6
