    i'd place you in a similar predicament to me. im on a 99.15 atar with a 6.0 gpa and have spoken to the faculties at both usyd and unsw. usyd have told me that based on last years quality of transfer applicants i probably would have just missed out, demand apparrently rose unexpectedly. unsw...

    what is the difference between GPA & WAM ?? thx

    on their website (unsw) they say you need a 6.0 GPA and a 97+ ATAR for transfer into combined law. so i'm guessing they use GPA. i think for internal transfer they use WAM.

    if it helps, i know a student who successfully transferred into usyd law last year with a 98.9 UAI and a 6.25 GPA

    My stats are as follows: ATAR: 99.15 GPA: 6.0 Have spoken to USYD and UNSW law faculties and have received the same response - "you will be competitive but no guarantees can be made".
