hmmm... i'm hoping to get a teaching job at high school. i'm not good at maths (struggled with MX1), no talent at language, found humanities boring, so l'm only left with science. i guess i'm fine with contact hours, just worried that i can't keep up with the work.

i'm using talent100 and matrix ones. they block atarcalc.com in china :( i got 96.5 from both. so i am assuming that must be pretty accurate?

ohhh, i see. say my chem raw mark is 70 and it get 'scaled' to 90. and after averaging with my internal mark/rank, the hsc mark is 90. now the 90 will get scaled again into 80 and this is the mark they use for atar. right...?

that's what i thought... but don't you need like at least band 5 across all your subject for atar of 90? 0_0

i just came across this pic which shows aggregated marks needed for atar above 90. but it doesn't seem right to me. how come a band 4 across every subject give you a 90 atar? or is that actually the raw mark needed? someone explain to me.. :/

what would the b6 cut off be? 80?
