what do you mean being a girl? I am a girl. No the fact is a marriage is not simply "a union between a man and a woman" it is a union (a contract if you will) between two people irrespective of gender based upon love and commitment so why the need for two separate names?

because by having a separate name..it is still suggesting that we are not equal. if it is the same rights then it is the same, yet by having two separate names for the same thing it is suggesting they are the same, but not equal
