2 unit people deserve a marathon thread too...
I'll start off with a typical hsc troll question (but abit harder)
$ A point P(x,y) moves such that it is equidistant from y = 1 and A(p , q) $
Find the equation at which P moves
One component of petrol is octane (C8H18). If the heat of combustion of Octane is -5464 kJ/mol then the heat that would be released by 1g of octane is:
a) 33.67 kJ
b)33670 kJ
c)42.03 kJ
d)162.26 kJ
Through unit analysis I get 47.83 kJ (2d.p) but the answer is 33.67 kJ. Anybody willing...
Here is a few links to that will help you for the hsc ^-^.

Although it is mainly for physics students in unsw, I'm pretty sure they can be applied to all subjects in the hsc :)
the original question is to find the first 10 terms of this series [(2^n)+(2n-1)]
but I am having trouble finding the common ratio as the first 3 numbers are 3,7,13..
Don't judge me, I only slept for 2 hours
It has been 1 and a half weeks since school ended for public high school students. So I'm curious have you all relaxed for 1 and a half weeks or are you doing some little work like I have? Or are you guys planning to study hard after new years?
And if any past HSC students viewing this...
