I wish we did this! We have 'tutor groups' with 18 or so people in each, and a teacher, but we've had that since Y7. It sounds really good, but not so much if you get a 'bad' teacher...
Is there any way that you could change another class to take up senior science? It seems like that's what you'd like to do, but if not, I think you should wait a few weeks before dropping completely.
Remember that Phys is a course that builds on the prelim a lot, so if you really don't get...
DROP BUSINESS.
(I did, the feeling of joy is still with me) Like seriously just drop Business like it's a hot potato. If you hate it, you won't do as well. Besides Chem is awesome.
I personally teach my parents the course... helps me to understand the concepts better by having to explain them. Girls in my year teach their pets, on advice from my Ancient teacher, who teaches her pot plant.
Although, if you like the topics, it's easier to remember all the content. It helps to have an enthusiastic teacher, like my Ancient one... the way she says things makes it easier to remember them even without studying.
If you know what course you want to do, and maths isn't a prerequisite, then drop general. It seems so different from the rest of your subjects.
But if not, then choose the one (to drop) that you think you'll either do the worst in, or will enjoy the least. From the people at my school's...
:( that's nasty... we got our paperwork in before the holidays- one of my friends dropped chemistry to go to 12 units, but picked it up again the next lesson because she missed it.
We've started Y12 work, and frees (subject drops) and extensions, is that what you mean by timetables?
Because if not, our timetables only really change in term 1 next year...
