What an odd comment to come out of the mouth of a troll.

Have to say that sydney needs to get their IT systems sorted. I always have these kinds of problems.

I usually use firefox because the sydney student admin has problems with chrome, but this issue is happening even in internet explorer. Maybe i should just go in person to vary my enrolment?

Ive done exactly that, probably 5 times at least. When it gets to the "Pending units of study" screen it doesnt show the missing unit of study, even though it shows on the main units of study screen and on the form where you modify your subjects.

Ive refreshed many times and it doesnt change. IDK what the reason could otherwise be.

A unit of study i am enrolled in is not showing up on my timetable. I believe this is a product of the new sydney student system because ever since that was introduced my student enrollment and admin details have been buggy.

I did both MATH1004 and MATH1005 end of last year, and I plan on taking MATH1003 because it seems interesting and I did 4u HSC, it looks like it should be pretty much a rehash of that. To anyone considering which one to do, id say do MATH1004, unless you know for sure you need Statistics...

I think alot of people feel this way. I did for a while, pretty much because I had felt the HSC was over and I was already at uni, so why bother with effort? Luckily, that feeling has passed. I didnt get motivated until I failed one of my units.

Does the same apply if you transfer from one USYD degree to another and apply for credit?

im pretty sure Chemistry has a 70 or 80% attendance rate. As long as you don't miss more than two?

And theres some content thats already been touched on in 3u such as combinatorics and induction.

According to the Handbook assumed knowledge is only 2u math.

Actually, its not needed for Computer Science, rather it is recommended. Most of what is taught it MATH1004 is taught in MATH2069 and I think some is also taught in ELEC1601.

How much programming knowledge is assumed for this course? Sorta curious,

You could find other related textbooks, but certainly not the course notes prescribed for MATH1001 or the textbook for MATH1002.
