Hi all,
I am somewhat confused as to what courses I should choose. (I am a HSC student of 2017 BTW) So this is the dilemma. I would like to do Data Science and Decisions at UNSW as it could really provide a sustainable future (good job prospects).
However I do have a passion for science (phys...
Pretty much what the title says, but I was thinking of doing Psych1001. I guess it also depends on what's the easiest. But also what elective did you guys find the most interesting?

So apparently it's been confirmed that an underground passageway exists at UNSW. Where do you guys think it starts and do you think a mere student can find it?
Also, where do you find the cats?
Sup guys, I'm transferring from eng to psych/science at various universities. Since I'm only a first year my atar is going to be used and I think I have a good chance of getting in anywhere... except I'm unsure if I applied through uac too late? I'm applying in the July rounds part 1 for semester 2.
I'm a first year engo student at UNSW and I'd like to transfer to exercise physiology. My atar would pretty much guarantee me into exercise physiology but it doesn't run in semester 2 so I'd have to transfer next year. I've heard that after a full year of uni, you are not permitted to transfer...
Idk if I'll be of much help since I'm currently doing Chem1031 this semester, and I've only done the midsem exam which both chem1011 and chem1031 did together. If you got a band 5 in hsc chem then I'd do it. I'm finding the content so far pretty decent and I also got a band 5. I compared the...
If anyone has done any of those courses, could you tell the level of work required for those courses and whether I'd have to bother showing up to lectures?
Also, are Professor BI Henry and Dr CK Mak good lecturers?
Thanks in advance.
So the title is self explanatory, but I'm doing materials science and engineering. Although I am genuinely interested in the course, I'm considering transferring to a different degree if the job prospects are really poor.
What I'm doing atm is engineering combined with masters in biomed. Honestly i cbf doing masters, and i really like how at usyd if you do biomed, then you can choose a 2nd stream. So nah, i'm starting to prefer doing a bachelors in biomed at usyd than go on to do masters straight away.
Im a first year Engineering student at UNSW, but recently I've been thinking of transferring to a biomedical engineering degree at usyd, since unsw doesn't offer biomedical engineering as a bachelors degree. If i wanted to transfer to a different uni and a different degree, how high should my...

So I just had my first lectures for MATH1131 today and considering I've only done 2 unit, I've understood most of the stuff, for now at least. I know we dont need a textbook but It'd help if i had a textbook for the algebra section. So does anyone know which book I should get for algebra? My...
Update: D94, thank you for informing me about how i cant do MATS1101. And now i've wiggled my way into higher chem, although the timings are slightly inconvenient. So yeah, thanks guys.
I just sent an email to the MSE faculty since they weren't picking up the phone. So hopefully they give some proper help. I wana replace MATS1101 with computing and engineering design.
Im doing mat sci and engineering/Masters in Biomed. So if the summer courses I need arent available, I might have to stay for another semester perhaps. I guess its not too bad, but what if i did 5 courses in the 2nd semester to catch up? I guess it would be overloading but do you guys know...
