What is the N/A system at your respective stores? I wish ours was online. We have a book and no matter how much notice I give, I still get scheduled on.
Yeah, I'm in my twenties now and I definitely get rostered much less than the school kids. Thanks for the advice, my manager said she'd discuss it with me again soon so fingers are crossed!

Pardon my ignorance, Woolies is my first and only job so far, but I spoke to my manager about part time and she seemed fine with the idea... now what are the benefits besides stability? I don't really understand how paid personal and sick leave work. Are they accrued?
If work didn't pay me one week (because someone didn't read the adjustment sheet...) and says they'll back pay me the next week, will I be taxed for that prior week or in addition to the next? I'm not sure if that makes sense.
My store just hired sixish new casuals for the front end. And a couple weeks ago maybe four others. Meanwhile, casuals who have been here a year plus are lucky to get a shift a week. I don't get it.
