External transfer from MQ to UNSW

Hi, I am studying actuary at MQ (first year) and I am about to complete one semester (4 units). After this I want to transfer to UNSW and do Data Science. I did some research and found that if I have studied below 0.75 FTEs (which is 6 units at MQ), then only my ATAR will be considered for...

for a DC motor does the force direction actually change every 180 deg? Wouldn't it only change if there WASNT a SRC? so shouldnt force direction be constant?

    E4 cut-off?

honestly no idea i haven't really looked into 3u cutoffs especially since its /70 so its not as straightforward as 4u which is /100 but after a quick glance of rawmarks.info id say like anywhere between 50-53 is an E4. for an exact number id say 51

    E4 cut-off?

im pretty confident that anything 70+ in that 4u exam will E4. if we're lucky the cutoff might even be as low as ~65/100 or maybe even 64

    E4 cut-off?

yeah a 68-70 in 4u almost definitely E4s this year. in 2013 a 63 went to an 89 for 4U and people compared the difficulty of our exam to that one

    2018 HSC Maths MX1 Discussion

i dont think a 99 aligned to a 100 last year so he/she must have got 100 raw i dont think nesa looks at your un-moderated internal mark either (the one the school submits) so that doesnt matter (if they did it would be unfair because of the varying difficulty of trials across different schools)...

    2018 HSC Maths MX1 Discussion

the question said something like 'show that the limiting sum of the areas of the quadrants is X' so you already know that the sum converges to X and as far as 3u maths goes only geometric sums converge

yeah I think it was like 4 billion something idk, i just saw 2^(19) and automatically thought it would be too big so i left the answer as 29C4 * 2^(19)

    2018 HSC Maths MX1 Discussion

you know its a GP because the question said that a limiting sum exists, and limiting sums only exists for GPs with |r|<1 so it can be assumed that x, x1, x2, ... form a GP with |r|<1 otherwise a limiting sum wouldnt exist i think if they wanted x2 they wouldve shown x2 in the diagram, but they...

    2018 HSC Maths MX1 Discussion

looking at 68 or 69 out of 70. is it possible for a 69/70 to align to a 100? for 14c)iii) did we have to prove that |r| < 1 or are we allowed to assume this since we are given in the wording of the question that a limiting sum exists? all i did was find x and x1 (using similar triangles), said...

    MX2 Exam Thoughts

    - as long as they can see the graphs when they scan it but im not too sure - i dont think the tan inverse form would be accepted but get a second opinion just in case - i thought (ii) was trickier than (i) im guessing an 80 may scale to anywhere between 93 and 96 but this could be wrong

i didn't do the 2013 paper so i can't really answer. i had just only looked at the aligning on rawmarks.info. i'm just hoping the aligning is similar to, if not better than 2013 because that's the only way ill get a 97 hsc mark

maybe around a 64 if you're lucky. keep in mind in 2013 a 63 went to an 89 and people are comparing the difficulty of that paper to ours
