If someone in your class achieved a first in course rank, would it bump up the marks of everyone else in that class? Would it even affect anyone’s marks at all? It’s been drilled into us by our Director of Studies that if your cohort does well, you do well so I’m just curious :)

i think E1 is my favourite subject for the sole reason that we get to somewhat choose what we write about - i'm so glad my class got to do mindscapes with Mansfield's stories and Hamlet. if i'm forced to write about Dickinson i'll be cooked though

yeah honestly if they ask for another related text i’ll just yap about ethel cain she’s PERFECT for mindscapes. even though songs are risky her world is SO DENSE and her lyrics are true poetry. i’m doing nabokov’s lolita for my related and punish would accompany it beautifully

i'm actually so paranoid about the 3 prescribed/2 related scenario. If this happens, and I defy the question with absolutely BANGIN 25/25 2 prescribed 1 related paragraphs - how many marks could I possibly lose?

yeah thats what i was thinking - i got my encore nomination today and NESA stated end of september for that so E2 is evidently very vague
