I think this was pretty unfair to not put these in the exam. by mechanics i mean Resisted Motion. All we got was a stupid boat. The Majority of the exam was harder 3unit.

sarapa, i totally agree, they should have made maths compulsory rather than english, if they were to make any subject compulsory (which they shouldn't) . But why do you expect a band5 for ext2 maths. It scales so much and most people end up getting 90(scaled) . I've been getting 80/120 ish...

is my method correct though ... im not rlly sure about multiplying both sides by b^(b-a) -a^(b-a) because if a>b then that will be a negative number and flip the sign, but as someone said i think it may result in the same inequality.

i dont see how you can assume a>b , as you're only given that a and b are real positive integers.
