Yeah something like that. And i'm not sure exactly, but it looks like it will be somewhere about 26 hours a week.

Yeah i'm also taking advanced engineering as an extra unit of study. Overloading will be interesting. Haha. I'm assuming it wouldn't matter too much if you fail this unit since your're overloading. Since it's only first year I don't think it will be counted towards your WAM. However, if you...

You will be assessed on "A written report on the project undertaken and other oral and written presentations as specified" so if you perform badly i'm sure it is possible to fail. Also i'm not sure how many hours they add up to, but there is one lecture and one tutorial each week. Check the...

Engineering (Civil) / Design in Architecture

I just used this and typed in the course code... So it should be right unless anyone in the course asked for their offers not to be published. I'm not sure where to find the actual UAC data, but apparently the offers are public information unless you request for them not to publish yours. =/ right?

    Advanced engineering

That's my plan, seeing as it means you won't regret not trying it. Although, i'm still waiting on advice from someone concerning taking it with a combined degree, seeing as the handbook says anyone doing b eng/ b arch should 'seek advice' before they enrol in adv endineering. Has anyone else...

I'm not sure, but i would assume the costs would be covered by the uni. Or maybe it's one of those subjects where 'students may incur material costs'... And i'm pretty sure it is just for one semester, then if you do well enough you can take advanced engineering in the subsequent years of your...

    Advanced engineering

Well this year's project does sound kind of fun. Building a car.. haha. Although, not related at all to my course... For anyone who hasn't seen it already: I think i will try this just to see if it is any good, so there will be one normal girl there... Does anyone else know anything about...

Does anyone know if Andanced Engineering will provide any sort of worthwhile opportunities later on? I'm considering taking up my invitation, however especially with a combined degree i'm not sure it will be worth the extra effort..

    The real CONFIRMED mc answers

Yes, however this observation was contradicted by Hertz's observation that they were NOT deflected by an electric field. Thompson's observation, at a later date, that they were deflected by electric fields showed that Hertz was wrong thus 'resolving' the debate.

Engineering (Civil) / Design in Architecture

I don't mean students will specifically better in the field of civil engineering. The opposite is probably true. However, by studying both engineering and architecture students would [or could... i don't really know] gain a more balanced/wide understanding of both fields and the ways they are...
