    Greetings

I suppose it depends when you completed your core courses. Last semester I took MGMT1001 as a free option, which is now one of the core courses for Commerce. This year, in accordance with the changes to the structure of B.Comm, the course was completely revamped by placing a much larger...

    Greetings

Difficulty is contingent on the level of effort you're willing to put in, and also your level of expectations. Is this your first or second semester? If it's your first, see how you go with the workload for a few weeks, and then decide for yourself if you want a casual job. Keep in mind that...

    Economics Major Elective Recommendations ?

It depends on the specific major - Business Economics or Financial Economics, as they have different plan structures. For Business Economics (what I'm doing): it isn't so much a case of which are the most easy/efficient/interesting, but moreso deciding which will meet the prerequisites for the...

    general UNSW chit-chat

Who said I was talking about 2UE and 2GB? ABC radio is the other side of the coin, if you say they're biased. Listen to both sides then.

    general UNSW chit-chat

This is your first time voting in a Federal election, yes? With 4.5 weeks until the election, you shouldn't take such a narrow-minded view of politics this early in the political campaign by basing your Greens/Labor vote (which you still have 4.5 additional weeks to decide) on the premise of...

    Hamlet and R&G

Hey. To be honest, I haven't started by Hamlet / R&G revision yet; I'm still re-reading Wuthering Heights for critical study! However: I plan on polishing my notes first. So: developing my notes on the themes, finding quotes, adding contextual links, etc. My teacher has given us the option...

Telling the Truth - Related Texts

These may have already been posted, but I thought I'd contribute anyway. The two related texts I've chosen are: The Crucible and the film Good Night, and Good Luck.

Which episodes are you doing for Frontline?

From memory, we need to know in-depth all the episodes. If unspecified, my teacher recommended referring to 3 episodes. However, if they specify a particular episode or a particular number of episodes, then of course you do what they ask. We're still studying this module; after the holidays...

What Case studies are you going to do?

For business management and change: I've chosen the ASX. Something different than the usual Coles Myer, Woolworths, Fairfax, etc.; has undergone major change and restructuring since its merger with SFE in June '06. Haven't had the time to figure out case studies for the other topics.

    Types of Business Entity

Aren't they into franchising? I wouldn't classify it as a cooperative, and they definitely aren't a public company.

    Supp Texts - Inner

Last week I did an oral assessment on a related text for the IJ. We were given a list of texts (book or film) to choose from. Some novels: March, Chain of Hearts, The Outsider. Some films: The Motorcycle Diaries, What's Eating Gilbert Grape. These texts were prescribed for this assessment...

Why do you study a foreign language?

    1. Why do you study a foreign language? What motivated you to do it? In our increasingly integrated and multicultural society, it's important to know at least one other language, apart from English. I chose to continue my studies of French for that reason - to be able to say I'm bilingual, and...

    Some questions concerning French Extension

I also study French Extension. According to my teacher, the script, however, is no longer available from France. So rather, we've been given photocopies of the prescribed scenes from the script. Either way, I suppose it's better than paying $70 for a 60-or-so-page script. Hmm.
