well even as early as first year you should pick subjects with majors in mind... enrollment guides will give you info/advice/planning stuff about that... but of course if you change your mind later you can do the extra subjects needed for your chosen major... :)

obviously it depends on which country in europe you mean... but i think anywhere in europe you're going to get a mix of cultures like nowhere else which is so great to experience... because exchange between countries while students are in their bachelors is soooo common in europe, sometimes even...

this sucks!!! and they're also introducing that fee (HAVE introduced it!) ... a 'student services and amenities' fee ... regardless of whether we've already paid union membership or not!! I DONT WANT TO PAY THEM!

sometimes you have to move to get where you want to go - not everyone is born near a top university /their preferred university i'm from country nsw, living in sydney on centrelink payments, i worked nights at oporto last year (i'm a science student - long uni hours) ... this year i havent...

my thoughts exactly! sydney siders need to realise that there is a world beyond the sydney suburbs sometimes!!

i do it, but like people say, not noisy or too smelly food... i'd feel bad bringing in like hot food or something that makes everyone hungry... lol and also like people have said if you don't have a lunch break on your timetable then you've gotta do what you've gotta do...

i like the subway, eastern avenue, quad, and holme building toilets, theyre always fairly nice i think :) and fairly convenient, esp the quad. some additions: woolley building - pros - quiet, large window, fairly clean cons - you may just get lost on your way in and out if youre not...
