after 3 applications, 3 interviews ever!! ive been hired for the new officeworks opening in castle hill (my first "official" job)

i was just called up yesterday about sucessfully getting the job for officeworks at castle hill but i still haven't received the induction email yet... and since its a new store there is no number to call them yet... how long did it take for successful people to receive their email/sms after...

hmmm... i dun have a definite position cos its a new store in castle hill but i put the preferences as stationery, then pos then BM and then the others...but its these 3 that i really want but i really dun care as long as i get a job... customer service questions... hmmm must think of answers...

I have finally passed the group interview stage and is now onto the individual interview, but because they are rushing to hire people for the new store they are conducting a phone interview instead but i guess its going to be the same as face to face... they said it will be around 20mins...

Bump... just got the phone call from Officeworks, because they are rushing to open the new store, they aren't conducting face to face interviews, instead its going to be a phone interview... what do the ask in a phone interview? i guess its similar to a face to face one but im still a bit...

update on my interview!!! i had it yesterday and i thought i would have no chance cos they are interviewing 90 people and only hiring about 24... and there were 2 women in my group that knew each other so they kept talking in the in between activities and i felt that it may be rude to interrupt...

yes definitely better than nothing... especially since i haven't worked before, the experience is important and if it is an okay job then the referee is also helpful...

yep heard back like 3 days after the interview... got rejected...i thought i said it... maybe not in this thread but i did in the officeworks thread...got rejected for toys r us and the next day got interview for officeworks
